Sunset on the farm. The picture was taken by Colleen (of course). I helped build these cowboy gates when I was a teen-ager.

As the sun sets on the farm,unfortunately the work doesn't.The milking commences.Unless you had other milking schedules,milking goes on into the night hours after dark.
Fortunately for Bill, Dad sold the cows about twenty years ago. However they kept one or two for the own use. So it has to be milked twice a day. Because Bill was always busy in the field, etc, Dad did the evening shift up to two weeks before he died.
