Double Blessing

After several years of not seeing much of each other, Ted and I met again in Spokane, Washington. Ted had lost his farm in Montana (I never saw it.) and he was retraining to be a computer programmer. I had suddenly left the church in Whitehorse, Yukon, and had temporarily "camped" our family at the home farm in Alberta. Neither Ted nor I had any idea where our respective lives would take us. But we were together and enjoyed each other's support and encouragement. Little did we know that over the next decade we'd spend more time together than we had since we were at Briercrest Bible College together. The Lord leads His children along and we need to rely on Him and his wisdom. Posted by Hello

I like this picture Ed.Yes we do need to rely on the Lord's wisdom for our lives everyday. In little ways as well as the larger ways. Its really something where the Lord leads each of us.The Lord's way and the Lord's timing. Not necessarily what we invision for ourselves or what we want but it all is intended to shape us to his molding. Thanks

Yep, we can never invision it, but what the Lord provides is better than what we can invision!

Above comment was by me, Mr. Ed.

Interesting that you presented the two of you, first as "Double Trouble", and then later (after maturing a bit) as "Double Blessing". That seems representative of God's work in our lives...changing our lives from the "natural man" to the "spiritual man", as we submit to the Lord's way (and will) in our lives.

We are usually a bit of both but (hopefully) moving in the blessing direction!
